Talk about anything here as long as it is not against the rules. Post count not affected.

I did play 5 occasionally over the summer but i'm pretty sure my coach is comfortable putting me at the 3 now. We already have 3 centers, so that makes my life a lot easier and funner. I'd rather play a drive/shooting game than a post game just because i'm not as strong as others in our league. I just can't wait to get my knee(s) back and start practicing in again; i'll be at 24 practicing 24 hours a day :P :D

youre the 2nd tallest dude on your team, but there are 3 centers and one of them is not you.

when I play i play the 3 or the 4.
I played football so im better suited for jungle ball.
its too finesse at my 24, so i play at the park where there are less fouls called

There's a guy shorter than me by a few inches but he's bigger ([no shot, no handles, but big]it'd be really hard to play center if you're not tall, even if you're big but coach still has him there). The other guy is at my height or maybe a tad shorter, but bigger (no shot, handles, a real big man). I'm just tall but not big and i can shoot but not the best ball handler (that's where the guard comes in ;)). Lol, i remember jungle ball, they all loved it, i stayed out :P.

I to play at the park and it gets me that much better but 24 is just a whole new world. The talent is rocket high and the competition is amazing least to say. Not to mention that you even get some high college prospects (UCR, USC, etc). A perfect day for me is playing there for just hours and hours; it's just that fun.

yeah, if a guy has no shot and no handles, then the only position is center. kinda like a tractor traylor or big baby Davis; short and big with no shot or handles.

at my 24 there are dudes that will play for ucla, usc, peperdine, northridge aswell. farmar played there a bit. kobe i heard played horse there too.

the competition at the park is not the greatest; its more at my level. but it does get physical so i like it. :D

What gym is that   ? Kevin Love's brother was down there once; he looks like him and everything but plays no where near his level.

KLove was good for the Bruins, but I dont know about you, I dont think hell have a good career in the nba.
I saw lots of his games, and he would get winded fast; did you see the game against Memphis (I think) in the tourney; he was so innefective cause he was fat and way out of shape. Reminds me of baby huey. He shouldve stayed in college for atleast one more year and developed his endurance.

I see OJ having a better career than him.

what do you think.

I think OJ May is WAY to overated. I remember us having a practice early in the morning and his name was brought up (he was in hs at the time). I've seen him play and he's good; just not as good as they say imo. The only thing that just stumped me about him is that he's been playing varsity since 7th grade AND averaging 23 points (in back east, i'm guessing you could do that)!! That's just flat-out amazing and i see how he's scouts magnet.

As for Kevin Love, i would say to expect a whole new player. I don't remember exactly when, but one of my coaches told me he'd been working HOURS upon HOURS a day to get in shape so he should be a big hit if that's the case.

I too think OJ may be a bit overhyped, but he is a pure shooting guard.
He has crazy handles and has a true shot; from deep and mid range. He drives to the rack like he doesnt care about his body. And he is in great shape; he can easily play 15- 20 min a night, no prob, right now.

As far as Love, he dropped like 25lbs i heard. But hes problem is that he is too short and weak to play the post, and WAY too slow to play PF. he has an outside shot, but only a catch and shoot or off a fast break. He cant create his own shot.
My prob with him is that i dont see what position hell play. I dont see him as a PF and no way as a center.

imho :D
