In the next week or so, I will be getting one of these devices. I'm torn between the two.

Which one would you choose and why? Positives - Negatives?

I guess I should say which android I'm going towards, it's the google nexus, does that make it a bit better ?

iPad .
1) I use an iPad and an android phone so I have used both. iOS is better any day.
2)though it might be costlier, an iPad is pretty low maintainence.
3) excellent battery life.
4) large screen makes it great for reading books( which , I assume from your username, you are fond of)

Same here, ipad has a better system, more stable and much more applications available from the store.

The only thing that I don't like about the iPad is that you can't boost the memory with a stick or sd card.

But then again, Neither can the Nexus...

iPad has 64GB, do you really need more?

Oh, brother! Some people (like me) aren't happy with even 200 GB disk space.

I have an Ipad Mini 32Gb...and i am very happy with it......

You can also get 128gb on an ipad but it's going to cost you about a grand
