Jitsi Meet is a mutiparty free videocalling platform. It now requires INVASIVE registration. What can I use instead. I don't use the chinese malware Zoom. FaceTime is nice but not everyone can.

If I'm not mistaken, ONLY the first one willing to assume moderator status has to log on with whatever credentials they prefer. It may take a bit of maneuvering, but you could set up an alternative identity to accomplish that. Not knowing your resources such as a little used device, cookie controlling extensions, and so forth. Using Chrome or Chromium (in the linux world) should work without using a software package (you'll need to grant camera and microphone privileges).
