So you have a speed and not a memory space problem? A speed problem you can reduce a little bit with overclocking tools?

What do you mean with "hard-drive", the internal RAM or the SD card? Software installed on SD card in generally reacts slower than software installed on internal RAM.
And if you install OS significant software (i.e. NetFramework, Java VM or TodayScreen applications) on SD card, it will slow down your whole device.

Nothing is installed on RAM. To get more RAM, just close the programs that are running by using the option to close apps by pressing the x-button. RAM has nothing to do with how many programs that are installed, but how many apps that are running. if you're running short on ram, some apps can't be opened. HTC P3700 has 256 MB ROM (this is where you can install apps), and 192MB RAM (which is more than enough), plus that it has 4gb infernal storage (this is where you should install your apps that can be installed to infernal storage).
So. Install your apps on infernal storage, close the apps that are running, and soft reset the device for once and then. You can also update the rom, a new one was released 16/1.

You can't fail if you don't give up.
