I agree with the cutlery on a plate one. I can't stand the rustling and rattling of someone digging in a bag of chips. And chewing, oh have mercy chewing. ARGH.

Sound of plastics, Radio on loudspeaker, and doors.. God I hate creaking doors..

my nephew has misophonia
http://www.misophonia.com/

it's a sensitivity to soft sounds like gum chewing, people eating, clicking pens, clicking heels on tile, silverware on dishes, excessive S's or K's, popcorn eaters at the movies, and so on...

he can't sit in a normal classroom with all the sounds of the other kids around him and takes his classes online. he doesn't eat dinner with everyone and prefers to eat just in his room. he's afraid to get on elevators and get trapped without a way to escape in case someone makes noise. forget airplane travel anymore. he wears his MP3 player always in public to mask noises. he can't listen to anything rap, and prefers symphonic music like movie soundtracks. His sensitivity and the associated anxiety and panic real got noticeable when he hit puberty.

his audiologist said that everyone has sound sensitivity and most people can block it out, BUT some have that flight or fight response like my nephew.

SO, if you have an increasing sound sensitivity it may be misophonia.
check it out and see if it describes you: http://www.misophonia.com/
