What is the best laptop for me? here is my criteria, please suggest something that you are realy trust in :
I don't care about:
1-Operation system.(Linux and Dos are OK)
2-Amount of Graphic Card's RAM.

I really care about:
1-Price (about 600$ (400 Euro) ,more or less).
2-Speed (both CPU and RAM).
3-Good keyboard shape and easy to use touch-pad mouse.
4-big screen (at least 15",better if it is 17").
5-I like this laptop work many years for me :)

and most of things I want to do with this laptop is surfing internet and install many programs on Operation system(Adobe photoshop,Microsoft Office,Microsoft Visual Studio and ....)

Well just check if the case does not have major scratches, cracks, etc.
You may check HDD with some diagnostic tools, but it's gonna take some time and HDD prices are pretty low, so I just bought a bigger one after some time of using the one I've got with my lapkak.
Oh, call me if you need help with haggling, I've cut down the price for 50 pounds on mine... :D

It always depends... I'm fan of ThinkPads and AlienWare stuffs. Original IBM pads are the most reliable partners. Now I'm using a HP and an Asus, both fine. If you have e-bay account, take a look at books there...

For me, the 1st rule: NO WAY FUJITSU-SIEMENS they are made of crap. Very bad service stats and anyway... 2nd: Try to avoid Acer too. Many friends have problems, even with brand new ones. 3rd: try to buy a new one with warranty. You never know... And try to figure out what is important? Large HDD or quick processor or strong vga or you're just looking for a good allrounder... There are tonns of different kind of books. I just can't recommend one. You want intel or amd, nvidia or ati radeon... Dell, IBM/Lenovo, Asus, Toshiba, HP, Mac etc. these are all good brands I guess.

My sister just got the Dell inspiron 17 and I got the 4200. We both like the backlit keyboards. I suggest you check the deal section for sale items. My Dell is replacing an 11 year old IBM. I would go with Dell, Sony, or Lenovo. Good luck its hard to give advice on laptops.
