Hi all,

I just got a nintendo Wii. Its from the states and I'm definitely looking at downloading wii games (I've already downloaded Final Fantasy: Crystal Bearers) and understand I have to mod my wii.

So the question to all modded wii owners and pple with experience is, which is best, and soft mod or hardware mod? Which one will be safest, is most compatible with all forms of games; allows me to play online, etc.

I used to repair phones so I can do tiny soldering etc.

Links to executing your suggestions will also be appreciated. thanks!

Most certainly softmod... :)

I have mine already more than 6 months and so far no problems with any game ;)

Probably there are more guide (+files needed), but I think this is a good one (2 links depending on your firmware) :)

No mate, I bought in Holland (PAL), and had at that time, If I remember correctly Firmware v3.4, I upgraded to 4.0 and followed an older (now removed) guide by the same guy.

IMO, if you follow exactly the above guide there should not be any problems ;)
