Avo what do you mean by new post warning ? I'm using classic.

I mean the notice you get when you're ready to post and someone else has already posted after you started typing. It disappeared a while back, then came back under 2.0, and now seems to be working in Classic too, but not in the contests section.

I hadn't noticed that the 'new post' warning was working in areas besides the contests section until today, but I don't normally find myself posting in the same minute as other members in anyplace but the contests section.

Actually, it wasn't working on 2.0 either.

It did work in 2.0 in the contests section when they first brought it out.
As soon as you could change back to classic I did, so I don't know when the option was lost in 2.0

It used to work at first, but it hasn't in a while now... I've never gone back to the classic skin. I actually posted about this a few days ago:

Has the forum stopped warning us when we're about to post something and there's a new (unread) post above ours? I've checked all of my settings and can't find that feature anywhere.

(EDIT: but yeah, I didn't know it WAS working, just not on the contests section... I haven't posted much elsewhere lately...)

Mel I'm not sure what that is (ebook farm) but I read the bits on the thread and yes it seems like everything is uncomfortable and not nice, I don't like it, I hate Ill-feeling stuff
