Yes, you can access Amazon kindle books by downloading the official Amazon Kindle app for PC. I'm not sure about official ePUB readers.

You can also download Calibre which can view almost any eBook file. You can also google the calibre de-DRM app which will strip any DRM from files you download (So I'm told). I'm not entirely sure how to work the de DRM thingy though... That stuff's illegal. ;)

Calibre is a Library also, so it well organize your books as well. Go to this site for some information on de-DRMing. https://apprenticealf.wordpress.com/

Just to let you know don't do any itunes books you have to have an iphone or ipad to read them you can not read from your computer and i have not successfully de-DRM an itune book.

http://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/free-pdf-reader.html

Here is the homepage of the main e-reader I use. It will open all major ebook formats incluiding cbr,HTML,epub, mobi, pdf just to name the important ones.

Calibre is great for auto-sorting and SOME converting but the converting function does not always work like it should with all books.
