HAPPY TO SEE YOU AGAIN

"We are honored by the fact that Dinamo Kiev invited Milan to their 80th anniversary. With Sheva we experienced some nice moments. I am happy to meet him." - ANCELOTTI'S PRESS CONFERENCE -

MILANELLO - Here is the press conference held today by Carlo Ancelotti before the daily training session:

"We are honored by the fact that Dinamo Kiev invited Milan to their 80th anniversary. Tomorrow I will field some players who have played less so far, while the others like Dida, Serginho, and Ronaldo will stay here."

Pato?
"Tomorrow he will be part of the game, let's hope he gels well with the team, anyway we will give him the necessary time to establish himself. We are happy he has arrived. He will be able to play many friendlies, especially during the international breaks. Already tomorrow he will probably show some of his class. I almost thought about making him play as right back tomorrow...!
He is a real striker, he plays in the center and is very fast."

Ronaldo?
"I think he will be there at Siena. I think a lot of confusion is being made because his is a straightforward injury, he is recovering and this break will be useful for him to come back at 100%. It takes the necessary time, it was a muscular injury so we are still within the expected recovery time. Again, the break before the match at Siena is ideal to get him back to his best."

Gilardino?
"He's a player who has always struggled at the beginning of a season. It takes him more time than others to get into shape also because he has a robust physique, and we must not forget he also had an operation to his meniscus. He is improving. I've always said I don't evaluate players on the basis of how many goals they've scored, but on the basis of the effort and the work they do during trainings. I liked the way he moved against Fiorentina, he worked hard. He did his best and that's why it's a shame if a player gets booed off. Usually when a player gets whistled I always try to leave them on the pitch, but on Monday night I could not. He's always the same anyway."

Emerson?
"On the two occasions where he came on the pitch he showed a lot of personality and experience. He's still slightly behind physically and tomorrow's match will be useful for him to improve his condition."

How it will be to find back Shevchenko?
"With Sheva we experienced some nice moments. I'm happy to see him again because since he left we did not see each other."

What can you tell us about Adailton?
"He has a very good left foot. He plays as a second striker. He's always done very well. I had him as a player when he was still very young, I think he was once top scorer at the Olympic games, then at Parma he was closed off by Crespo and Chiesa, but he would have done well in Serie A. In any case Bologna is a very good place to play, he started the league well, and has already scored a goal."

Hey timothy185, how if Sheva back to Milan? Could it be come true? Really hope Sheva can back to AC Milan. But, what about any team reaction? Could Sheva back? And about Adriano. I think, its imposible to bring Adriano to AC Milan. But, if AC Milan can do it, it will be really really good for Milan. But one more problem, Milan will have so many striker (Ronnie, Pato, Inzaghi, Gilardino & 1 more ---> Sheva / Adriano). So many striker it will be make Ancelloti make a hard decision to make a tactical. All of them is good player, ofcourse they all want to play in stater line up.

1 bad news.. I've heard latest news about Luciano Pavarotti has passed away. The maestro has died. He's song in World Cup 1994 now just a big memories from football.

I ONLY THINK ABOUT IMPROVING

These are the words of Alexandre Pato, before the morning training of Milan, the day after the 2-2 with goal against Dynamo Kiev.

MILAN - Training for Milan at the Sports centre of Dynamo, at Konchasaspa, the "Carnago" of Dynamo, the day after the 2-2 at the Lobanovskiy stadium of Kiev, during the 80th birthday of the Ukrainian club. The squad started to work at 10am, but at that moment Alexandre Pato has already announced. The journalists present at Kiev asked for a short press conference of the young Brazilian player and Milan agreed straight away. Italian video cameras, local cameras and reporters from the sports newspapers and not only. Close to the training ground, thanks to a translator, Pato spoke about his thoughts and explained: "For me, yesterday was an importat night. I had the opportunity to embrace Shevchenko, the most important number 7 of the Milan history. It will be difficult to reach him, he did great things for Milan. To do so I will have to work a lot."

This is the background. But at the centre the attention is placed straight away on the pitch. How Pato moves, what he prefers, which characteristics he has. And here the young Alexandre tries to get into the details: "It's not the first time that I score ah eader. I scored a similar goal also with the Under 20 national team of Brazil. I'm a player available for the team. I'm an attacker of the penalty area, but I like to dialogue with the team on the pitch, with my team mates."

The physicological characted impact with the new reality: "I find myself well," replied Pato. "I try to following the training sessions with great care and I know perfectly well that I must still improve a lot, without thinking about what happened last night in the friendly game."
