Where are some of the sites to buy ebooks? I buy from Barnes and Noble but those are hidden on my nook. I looked at amazon, but it seems they want me to have a kindle. Where can I purchase new releases downloaded to my PC?

Thanks so much for any assistance.

If you like Sci-fi/fantasy you can get them from Baen Publishing at www.baen.com

It's how I got into ebooks

When you buy e-books from amazon you have to download the kindle app for PC .

Or even after purchase of any e-books there is a option to open the book within the site itself without any external e-book apps.

I usually use calibre to read all my books on PC or bookviser on my smartphone. Hope this helps you :)

Thanks,
I use Calibre as well, but am getting tired of bouncing back and forth from my nook and calibre to see which books I have. I am not able to get the nook books into calibre, but can't find all the books I want on the internet. Was just looking for a site that I could purchase and download them in calibre to move them into Nook as I want to read them, but also to share with the rest of the family. I get alot of books from Mobilism, but can't ever share back with the newest books I buy.

Was looking at Kobo, but downloaded one of their free ones, but have not figured out how to read it other than on the PC with the Adobe app.

Thanks,

Julie
