Yes, who is the most prolific ebook poster? And, who is the most prolific ebook requester?

Why do I want to know, you may well ask. I am a born inquisitive, and I love statistics. Another thing would be interesting to know is: How many have been banned and for what reasons?

:)

Ah! Now I know why the question popped out!

Beukies wrote:Yes, who is the most prolific ebook poster? And, who is the most prolific ebook requester?
For the first answer is or was ME. Once upon a time though, when we were still struggling to keep the e-books forum alive. Now, I'm not sure. Many potential prolific e-books releasers sticking around here. I'm excited noticing that. Why don't you set up the statistics for that ? I'd like to know the result as well,

For the second answer, heck! More interesting is to know who is the most prolific e-books fulfiller (if that word exists, ), don't you think so ? :?

How many what have been banned ? The people (posters & requesters) or the books ?

For the first question, the answer is MANY for spam posters, SOME for naughty-never-want-to-listen-to-moderator's-advice-to-edit posters (this is usually for a very short period) and a FEW doing self-banning for too-proud-to-follow-site-guidelines poster. All of the reason are self-explanatory,

For the second question, the answer is we never ban the books but we listen to the authors' notes by respecting their wishes.

HTH, :)

This is incredible! 3 months nothing and suddenly an incredibly clear answer! Thanks Andree!

I have figured out who the most prolific Ebook request fulfiller is: Toothrot! He/she is absolutely awesome. I often wonder how he/she finds all those books?! :o

It is difficult to find the Ebook requester though. I noticed that someone will join, request a number of books run out of "money", and dissappear! So, they register under a different nick and use the WRZ$50 again!

I agree, the most prolific ebook filler is a great angle...it does look like Toothrot probably does currently hold the crown, he's made some great fufillments!

I noticed that some eBook posters seem to post the same types, or are fairly consistent in a genre. It seems as if I tend to like books from certain posters; whereas, another eBook poster tends to have books that aren't to my taste.

This site truly offers something for everyone, though!

I think that is because most of us post books that we like to read, although, occasionally, I throw something out there that sooo isn't me!

When you think about it, it only makes sense. If a poster likes to read a lot of Sci-Fi, what is he/she most likely to have a lot of TO share? Right! Sci-Fi! Someone who likes and reads mostly Thrillers - most likely is going to be posting mostly Thrillers, etc.
