[Red Skeletons]

Not an ebook post as such, but I'm curious to know if anyone has purchased the Taschen book stand ? I have a number of heavy, expensive art books which I'd love to read without damaging the spine while sitting awkwardly on my lap. The book stand seems like a good solution but I can't confirm if the "wings" are adjustable (ie that they can close-inwards or flatten out) to suit the dimensions of whatever book is being supported. Can anyone help ?

That doesn't seem to be for reading. It looks more like a display stand, like in a museum.

Doesn't look adjustable; that looks like two sheets of acrylic, folded and melted together. You might be able to "adjust" it with a heat gun and some backing blocks, though.

I picked up one directly from them at a large convention in 2019. Not adjustable!
