Is there an appropriate place to discuss this?

I feel people have moved over to host that are simply impossible if you are blind? Do people get payments from using these hosts? I don’t understand since there are hosts without all the pop-ups and redirects and captchas and overlapping add content that are impossible with a screen reader. Especially on a tablet or smartphone. With the newer posts I am getting nowhere. The hosts that are manageable are tusfile, lilfile and zippyshare. I have a bit of trouble navigating the site... is there a list of prefered hosts? Somewhere to discuss this issue?

Thank you. I hope this post of mine is not in the wrong place.

It’s baffling to me as well. I have the same problem with a lot of the sites, particularly dropapk, restfile and hulkload.
Even reliable sites like dailyupload is starting to have problems,
Uploadrar
Tusfiles and sendspace on the other hand are so easy to download from.
Zippyshare used to be the best before it got blocked for unknown reasons.

I will leave the explanations about filehosts to the posters, just one clarification: Zippyshare did not get blocked, Zippyshare was the one doing the blocking.

We had no choice but to remove Zippyshare from the Premium Downloader list when they blocked IPs in several countries in Europe (Germany, UK, Spain), including the country were the premium server was hosted, so the Premium was no longer able to access the site. Just like millions of people throughout Europe.

Zippyshare has invisible redirect links overlapping the download button too now. It just doesn’t go into a fatal loop that crashes the device like the hosts that have become strangely popular here lately.

Really lilfile is the only clean host I have seen recently and they are perfect for smaller files like most ebooks.

I also agree: the tricky payment-oriented hosts are very challenging for the vision-impaired and elderly with shaky cursor control.
And for what? A fraction of a penny to an uploader's account? So much for the gift of reading.
Has anyone noticed similarities among the tricksters, e.g. similar wordings, window layouts and formats? Is there a common source? Someone here on Mobilism?
+1WRZ$ for exposing the "invisible redirect links overlapping the download button" as I was unaware. Where may we read more about it?
