It seems there might be a movement towards qr codes(possibly exclusively?) to dl books. As much as I hope that's not the case,I thought I should ask how or even if it works on a browser on a laptop???

I use calibre on my laptop to convert to .mobi something the calibre mobile app isn't doing for me.

Anyone know how this can work??

I'm a lifetime VIP so simply using a regular dl link is not the answer.

If a link doesn't have the blue download arrow it means it's not supported by the Premium Downloader. The QR code doesn't do anything beyond representing a URL in image form, from which point the Premium Downloader integrated into the Android app takes over and downloads from that link. You can't use the QR code to download via the app it's not a supported filehost.
