I’ve seen numerous lists of people’s favourite authors or most popular book series, but which are your least favourite or those you just avoid altogether?
Here are a few of mine:
Orson Scott Card
Dan Brown
James Patterson
Piers Anthony

Graham McNeill is one my least favourite. He tends to write in part of multi author series I read, and I find his pacing poor, his character development patchy and I am always left wondering why he includes so many dead end characters. Come to think of it I don’t like George RR Martin for the same reasons

L. Ron Hubbard is always at the top of my avoid list.

I won't say least favourite author but more like "wont read anything from him anymore" , and that would be Orson Scott Card. And then not because he writes bad or writes bad books, but because of his political views. After i found out what he really stands for personally, i dumped all his books in the trash (they where paper ones).
