Up until recently I have never had an issue with downloads that I have gotten from Mobilism. In the last 3 or 4 months I have downloaded a couple of books that have had a trojan in them. I don't mean to imply that the person that uploaded the book here is responsible for the problem. My only intent is to inform people that there may be an issue. The first book I had an issue with was called The Family by Naomi Krupitsky. I don't remember what the exact trojan was in that book. The most recent problem I had was a Danielle Steel novel called Invisible. The exact message I got when I tried to move the book from the folder I had originally downloaded it to into a different folder was this Danielle Steel - Invisible.epub is infected with Trojan.GenericKD.38461451 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean. I use BitDefender Total Security. In the case of the first book I tried downloading it from several different sources........IRC, the news groups etc. It was infected with the same trojan every place I got it from. If anyone downloaded either of these books you should probably run a system scan with whatever you have.

@IU2BAPIC
Challenge accepted. :D
I also use BD (Internet Sec version). I d/l'ed the Krupitsky novel from uploadrar with no warnings from BD. I scanned it after d/l with no alerts. I opened it with no alerts. I didn't do the Steel novel because there are just too many posts to go thru at this time.

My post is really just more info for the mods.

@Anonyma'am

I also didn't have an issue UNTIL I tried to move the book from one folder to another folder. Then I got a box that told me I needed admin rights to do that and then bitdefender told me it was infected.

I did not have that happen with Krupitsky. Sounds like an admin rights issue or BD setting.
HOWEVER, when I d/l'ed Invisible, it triggered a decontamination resulting in the same trojan you mentioned and stripped the file down to 0Kb which cannot be opened.

Mods, what do we do?

Thank you merry60. I would rather think that Bitdefender is giving me false positives for a trojan than that I am actually downloading trojans. For now both of those books remain in quarantine on my computer.
