If you actually read and follow the notes on the request page that clearly explain how to maximize your chances (provide kindle ASIN, check if on sale in USA, not preorder etc etc) then yes the fill rate is near 100% even for books costing 100 dollars or more on amazon.

Yes, the I have got almost all the books that I requested fulfilled that are available on amazon site.

The ones that are waiting are those that don't come in kindle format ( so they need to find pdf etc.)

I think they give a good service either way specially for readers like us.

Worse side is, you tend to buy a lot :)

I did "actually read and follow" the instructions on submitting requests.
However, even when following their request instructions exactly, it has not been my experience that you get a near 100% fill rate - for me, it's been closer to 50%.

Since I posted yesterday, one of my requests did get filled - so my total so far is 5 requests filled and 4 requests waiting.
I have 4 books sitting in requests that have been there over a week - all 4 ebooks are under $12 US each, all 4 are currently available on the Amazon US site, and all 4 have ASIN numbers ... yet these requests do not get filled.
I find it's very frustrating because there's no way to know their status - I don't know if the requests are being worked on and will show up in another day/week/longer, or if I should just give up and buy them retail from Amazon.

If you have some tips to get the requests filled faster (besides the instructions on the site that I followed), please share!

Could someone please PM me an invite code for Ebook.Farm? I used to get some textbook from Ebookoid.net. Thank you very much for your help.

Since it was over a week that I had been waiting for some requests and so many others said that was odd to wait that long, I wrote a nice PM to support to see if they could tell me what was happening. It turns out there was a problem with one of the books I'd requested, and for some reason that held up the rest of my book requests.
Here's what they told me:
is a Kindle Cloud Reader formatted book, cant get those takes too much time, money, effort and the result quality is unreadable in most cases

So any books apparently can be in a different kind of kindle format, and it's not specified on the Amazon site that I can see, and it doesn't come out well when you try to change the format. This book I requested was a photography collection with some text, so perhaps the large amount of images is was why the format was different from other books there?

I'm happy to say all my requests except that one book were filled.

one thing I found interesting is that when I look at amazon.com (US site) from Europe for a certain book, I can see the kindle book available but when I request the book is not available in the US. My partner tell me that due to copyright issues, some kindle version are not available in the USA.

Apart from this all my crazy demands have been fulfilled. :D happy Jen

I had the same trouble, im not very tech savvy but Amazon.com recognizes you ip address and the country your in, so it shows you the books allowed in your country even if they are priced in dollars, so they may not be available in the U.S. or available at a different date. Use a proxy server to hide your address and you will see Amazon. Com as the Americans see it, I was surprised how many books I was after are not available in the U.S. and surprised that some books I thought would never be on there that were.

The requests got split into two sections now it seems:

Request, must provide Amazon.com Kindle URL, high chance of book being posted
Wish, must provide Google Books URL, low chance of book being posted

One is notified in both cases.

If you use Firefox for a browser, you can install a simple addon called "anonymoX" which will fix this problem. When you turn on anonymoX it will allow you to select which country you want your IP address to be from.
I use anonymoX whenever I get that aggravating , "Sorry, but this video is not available in your country" message.
