I just went through the same hassle before I figured it out. You have to register the first time with Persona, then click the "new registration" again and enter the invite code a second time.
The second time it will transfer the invite code to the site, not the first.

You might note that it helps if the email account you are using or going to use for the site is open in a separate tab. That way Firefox can do an automatic verification of the email account.

they sell every book available on kindle in USA. if the book is not available you can request it. only condition is that book must be available on kindle for sale in USA. if book is not available you will come to know about this while requesting.

I would also be interested in bibliotek.org if anyone in the community is able to provide an invite.
