I have searched and found it but the links are dead and the uploader is inactive..
Can i request it again as not sure of the right thing to do?

I'll go ahead and move it to Expired so people know it's eligible for reposting. But in the future, all you need to do is post in that thread that "OP is inactive and links dead." One of us will take it from there.

And yes, requesting it since it currently has dead links/inactive poster is allowed.

Thanks. Had the same question and voila! a search cured it.

Question on the posting of a request for something that’s been marked as “inactive OP and dead links” : in the body of the request would it be appropriate to put a link to the original posting, as contextual information?
