A few words about the events of November 2022
Nov 18, 2022

As many of you know, on November 3rd most of our domains were seized and some our servers were suspended by the United States Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. In addition, on November 16 the United States Department of Justice published the indictment against two citizens of Russia, Anton and Valeria. They are accused of criminal copyright infringement, wire fraud and money laundering to operate the Z-Library.

We refrain commenting on the alleged Anton and Valeria involvement in the Z-Library project and the charges against them. We are very sorry they are arrested. We also regret that some authors have suffered because of Z-Library and ask for their forgiveness. We do our best to respond to all complaints about files hosted in our library if it violates author's rights.

We see the resonance recent events caused, we see how many people support and believe in Z-Library. Thank you for your support, it is extremely valuable to us. Thank you for each donation you make. You are the ones who making the existence of the Z-Library possible. We believe the knowledge and cultural heritage of mankind should be accessible to all people around the world, regardless of their wealth, social status, nationality, citizenship, etc. This is the only purpose Z-Library is made for.

My makeup may be flaking
But my smile still stays on

It's really interesting.
Books that the search did not notice before were highlighted. I remember looking for them before.

It would be appreciated if these methods could be included in the thread so all of us could benefit. I probably get over 95% of the books I'm looking for from Mobilism. The others come from other sources including Z Library. These are older books where the link on Mobilism is dead. I know I can message the original poster but if available from another source, I do that rather than bother the poster, some of which are inactive.

Thanks to all that are sharing their knowledge obout the Z Library issue.

i received an email the the other day from a site purporting to be z-lib, and you know what ? i had no idea if it was a phishing email or if the site is back up so i ignored it.
as it stands, it appears z lib is officially up, each member who had access to it via login in the past now enters the site with the same login information, and receives an *individual url* for their username which gives them the same access to the site as the person had previously.

for myself ? i walked away.
there is nothing on that site i would want; i had only gone into it in the past to try to find material on behalf of others, and if there's a tiny chance this is a trick to get ppl to log back in so some source can grab all our information, i can live without it all.

so i'm not returning.

does / did z lib have its own unique material not available elsewhere ? yes, in limited amounts.
i dgaf.

happy hunting there. and i hope nothing untoward happens to you.

there is an academic torrent site, there is libgen, there is irc there is this and that and z lib ? no thank you.

what anyone else does is their business.

i had written to a friend in india who had also in the past discovered z lib's "demise" and when i wrote him it's back up (presumably) he has taken the same approach as me.
books in india are hideously expensive when taken into consideration their living expenses etc; even a 10US$ title here is effectively a burdensome cost for someone in india. both he and his wife have an indian's middle class income and that's irrelevant.
what is relevant ? opening himself up to what may or may not be a honeypot.
even if it's as legit now as it used to be, he's not taking the risk.
nor am i.

all of you have fun, enjoy the site.
but i have too many of my own sources to even consider returning.

When you are logging in your Zlib account in Tor, you should see such message at the very top "You have unlocked secret personal clearnet domains! Switch right now: Link 1 or Link 2". Use it. I have not received any email too, but with this links I'm not needed anything more.
