I'm re-reading Ultraviolet, by Elise Noble. It's part of the Blackwood Security series, about a Russian assassin that tries to escape and live a normal life in the USA. Things don't go well, and the assassin gets involved with Emmy Black and company to try to fix things. So of course all heck breaks loose......................
