For me, it's any of Noel Streatfeild's books - I found White Boots on here and actually did a little chair dance. I suspect they're available, just not in the US.

Also, Girls of Canby Hall. I really wish those were ebooks. :O

What books are there out there that you wish were available in digital format?

For me it's a series of books I used to read when I was a kid called "The Great Brain" by John D. Fitzgerald.

There's like seven books, I think, my favorite being "The Great Brain at The Academy".

I looked on Amazon hoping they were available but alas, no digital versions. :(

OH my GOD! I would KILL for those. I think they should be SOMEWHERE but I have never found those either.

I wonder if it's because they're out of copyright?

I found the Henry Reed books which I felt the same way about - scanned obvs, with errors, but still readable, and i was overjoyed! I think I'm going to post a request for the Great Brain series.

Happy day, indeed.

Just thought of another book that I loved as a kid. If someone has the ability to scan books into quality EPUB's, I may in fact mail them my hardcover copy of the book and as long as they can provide a quality scan, then they can keep the book.

Kiteman of Karanga by Alfred Reynolds. Kinda sci-fi-ish.

Banished from his homeland for cowardice, Karl uses his kitewing glider to fly across the "endless" desert where he faces unkind odds against surviving, and ultimately reaches a new land which contains perils of its own.

Just realized that it would be awesome if the Choose Your own Adventure books as well as Encyclopedia Brown books were available digitally as well.

I came across a horribly formatted copy of an Encyclopedia Brown book years back but it was frustrating because you couldn't click to the end of the book to read the answer to how he solved each mystery. lol.

The Bone People by Keri Hulme. I requested a copy on here, and received a horribly-formatted (and missing text) word doc from someone here.

All the Nancy Drews. I have a lot of them. But not all. And have been slowly reading them in order the past year or so.

Coming Through the Rye: 60 Years Later. John David California's sequel to Catcher in the Rye. I have a physical copy, but it would be great to have an ecopy.

A book called 'Mon Ami Mate' by Chris Nixon. There's no digital version that I'm aware of, it's out of print, no libraries around me have it... it's kind of making me crazy xD

Too many to list, though my first choice would have to be one of my all time favourite authors Robert Bloch. Almost all his works except the Psycho books are out of print and unavailable as digital editions. I miss this one the most, its a wonderful tribute to H.P. Lovecraft - I lost my copy years ago and its so rare now I couldn't afford the exorbitant prices it sells for.
