Hi what is the process to follow if the links are dead and there is no message at the bottom of the post to pm for re-uploads. Would I have to make new book requests for the links below?

You can find the answer to your question in the Rules, one of the useful links in the opening post of this thread. This is the process: look at the OP's profile and check to see if they are active or not. If they are active then send them a PM asking for a re-upload of the file. If they are not active then leave a post in the thread stating that the links are dead and the OP is inactive.

If you don't receive a reply after sending a PM send another message to an eBook moderator of your choice OR post in the thread explaining that you sent a PM x days ago and received no reply.

Once we have determined if the OP is inactive we will expire the release and let a more active user re-post the thread.

As for requests, you CAN post a new request if you want too. However I have gone ahead and expired the threads mentioned in the post above so I would wait a day or so before posting a request.

We're still tweaking it. If you receive a challenge during legitimate activity, please post here. I'll get your IP from your post and will be able to check the firewall's logs to see which rule triggered the false positive.

I have been having trouble where the CAPTCHA appears every time I send a PM or post with quotes or codes. It only seems to happen on my computer (not mobile devices), but it happens every time and then erases what I typed (I just backspace and keep going until it sends)

Instead of a single file I found out that the .rar file contained about 1600 files, directories, registries and so on... which was truly harmful for my computer.

I am downloading the file as per directions but still the issue persists. Can something be suggested in this case.

I am following the correct procedure, and downloading as per instructions as I have mentioned before. It's not the first time I am downloading from these sites hence, I am quite surprised why this is happening now.

Besides, the same downloading steps, downloads the correct file and sometimes it downloads wrongly.

I read the above mentioned article before posting my problem thinking there's some mistake being made from my end.

How do you post more than one image into the template? I can't get it to work right no matter what I try.

Do each image individually from the image host: http://images.mobilism.org/ and then copy and paste the link into the post .... placing each one side by side ...where it says place image here

occasionally when I try to download using the big blue button it works as normal but once on the page where it usually doanloads I get the message "It is not possible to carry out a record in the file" Metawars__The_Complete_Series__Trance,_Changeling,_Temp (Obviously the book info is different depending on the book!)

However if I click on the TusFile link directly instead of the arrow I can download this way, this has not just happened on one book but on quite a few, any thoughts?

It has happened before that the downloader had trouble with too long names, as do some filehosts and even some operating systems. No matter how often we ask posters to keep the length of titles reasonable, some just don't. A file name like "Metawars_The_Complete_Series_Trance_Changeling_Tempest_Chimera_by_Kelly_Meding" is nowhere near reasonable.

Hi, I've recently begun getting the same Chrome error as the people above. I'm not hitting the wrong download link, nor letting those pesky download managers get in on the fun. It's a recent Chrome problem.

I've had to start copying URLs to IE and downloading from there as the only way around Chrome's hiccup. Files so downloaded contain only the books I was after, not massive bundles of unwanted files.

I would suggest you try Firefox for a while, at least until the problem with Chrome gets fixed. So far nobody has reported this error in FF with adblocker plus installed. You will still have to put up with the annoying filehosts' manoeuvrings, though.

Thanks merry60, but FF isn't my bag (loathe it), I'll stick with IE for my workaround (loathe it just a bit less than FF).

Is there an issue with tusfiles premium downloads? I keep getting an Error, download...when I click on the arrow.

We know whats causing the issue, we just cant fix it because of a problem in dealing with Tusfiles. Be that as it may, we're confident that Tusfiles will be fixed within a couple days.

hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm having trouble downloading. I will search for a book (title, or author doesn't matter) and a list will come up and then when I click on one I get a new page saying -
Information
No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame.

another example is I've found a book and on that page it lists others in series and when I click on them I get the same error message.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's broken.... what should I do?

Apart from that there is "nowhere" that can tell you historically where you've looked ..unless you have posted
