Well as the title states really...

More and more am not able to download books due to links simply not leting me..

Site server may work but once there nothing happens as either goes round and round in a circle, Tells me have reach my damned limit for the day(even if not downloaded in days) or tells me I need a flippin premium account!!!!!

culprits include Rapidgator, and Nitroflare!! it has taken me 4 days now to download 2 books from these god awful sites, Have PMed the original poster of books but never seem to get a reply so am hoping this thread will get others to come forward to put a little pressure to get better links..

thank you for reading

Can you give us an example of such a thread? If it's a problem with the links themselves then we will have to get it sorted. If it's specific to you then we can see about getting a mirror on a file-host that you can use.

Hi Panda!

I did look into this matter and the conclusion was that as RG is a Mobilism supported file host we cannot do anything with the thread as the posting rules have been followed. I.e. atleast 1 Mobilism premium file host has been provided (no matter how bad that host is).

I'm sorry that nothing can be done as of now. You can however ask the OP - With in this case - to provide a more user friendly file host. If he cannot/will not do so for whatever reason then we can allow a mirror to be posted in the thread.

Just ensure you PM With and give him at least 24 hours to look into it for you though, he usually helps as best he can.

Already asked via pm to use friendlier links and still continues to use same links. and as around 40% of the books/mags being posted by WITH are ones we would like to read this has become an issue.

If you have sent a PM and received no response and the links have not been fixed within 24 hours, please go to the PM you sent the OP and click the report button (red exclamation - point bottom right).

For the reason select Other and in further details add a link to the release thread and explain that you have had no response from the OP about getting a friendly link posted.

This is ok for individual links but when there's a dozen or more and no response( I had one from both a mod and OP relating to issue and only one link) then clearly something needs to be done...

I understand that as long as a free link and premium link has been provided then the rules are met... but if these links only allow a SINGLE file to be download in and hour or in most cases that day then whats the point as all it does is make some of us feel as if we should BUY a premium account when one should not be needed... This issue only really effects the book section as downloading from free links in all other sections(films, android) there are rarely the same issues an more files can be download over a 24hr period... where as here I'm lucky to get 2 books a day sometimes...

Please review the policy again as it is a little unfair and some op's provide excellent links sucj as zippy, HG and TS....

Here's the deal: Although we would love nothing better than having all of our links come from super fast, super friendly and super unlimited file hosts, the reality is that not all of our uploaders are in this for purely altruistic reasons, some of them make a little bit of money out of using certain file hosts, and leading customers to them. And what may not be a lot of money to some, it's a month's wages to others. Think about it.

To try to make everyone happy, users and uploaders, Mobilism began subscribing to some of those sites (the most restrictive ones specially) and offering it's members the downloader service, which is a humongous bargain at the price, you'd pay more than the fee Mobilism charges for ONE subscription, let alone the 15, or so, we have right now.

Having to jump through a few hoops and spending a little, or a lot of time, is the price that we pay for free books, software, movies, etc. The only truly free things I've ever found are air and death. One I need, the other, not so much. So you have to ask yourself, how much are you willing to do to get something as near to free as it gets? How much do you want and need the book, magazine, software, etc.? Are you willing to spend a little bit of time and what you perceive as an inconvenience to get it?

If you think about it, whether it's convenient, or not, we're getting a lot for very little.

Nearly free.

Let's clarify this point a bit, shall we? I imagine that by 'premium link', you mean a link from a host supported by the premium downloader, no? Because there is no such thing as 'free link and premium link' in the Rules, both links MUST be totally free.

1. All users must provide two download links. BOTH links must be from FREE file hosts. The moment a host requires registration to download (like 4shared), it is disallowed. But detestable as they are, the file hosts mentioned in this debate so far do not require registration and we cannot ban them.

2. All MERs and MODs must provide at least one link from a file host supported by the premium downloader. However, not all supported hosts are a blessing for free users like Zippy, many of them make you wait a long time between downloads.

Therefore, when a horrid host like Nitroflare or Uploadrocket is offered along with a supported host that makes users wait between downloads like Rapidgator and Uploaded, the end result is deadly to the regular user. So the regular user must do what Arkonen said: flood the posters inboxes with complaints until they realise there's something really wrong with their choice of hosts, and keep in mind what Zackddog said: please be patient.

I know about that, but my point is, since you mentioned about rapidgator, and questioning why we allowed it, here there is: It's suported by Mobillism ;)
