I really liked the new v2 app. However it is more important to get it stable and sort out all the loading problems properly so take all the time you need and don't rush. That said, an update would be great

In the meantime, I have reverted to the old 1.9.3 version.

Can't wait for the V2. You guys are amazing, it's going to be great. Take your time and get it done right.

the amount of work that went into 2.0. It's miles ahead of the previous app and has a ton of features that I know everybody will love.

Well, I used 2.0 for the short time it was working after release and I must say that NONE of the new features attracted me. I'm not interested in colorful bells and whistles for adolescents, eating extreme part of screen space, I'm not interested in discussions (at least not on mobile, that's what computer with big screen and proper keyboard is for), etc.

BTW, turning off the pictures still does NOT get as many items on screen as in the 1.9.x version... due to the terrible "modern" UI for kids where everything is unnecessarily big and with too much empty space everywhere.

That said, I'm not disrespecting the work which was done... I'm just not sure the effort was invested the right way.

I'm happy to give the devs time to to debug unforseen issues that have come up from the complete rebuilding of an application MANY people use. I'm happy to be a have supported this site and everyonne with my donations and will continue to donate as I can even when I don't have to.

Some of these issues can't be identified until it goes out to a much wider audience and, especially with the Android ecosystem, there are MANY things that can conceivably go wrong because of the vast amount of devices out there and the fragmented ecosystem itself. Adding to that would be other server side things such as authentication handling, database loads, session count, and other things of that nature that have to be monitored and it's sometimes amazing ANYTHING gets out in a working state.

Development and debugging of apps like these is not a walk in the park and I take my hats off to everyone involved with this. It's hard work, and many times it can seem like it's unappreciated but know that the momentary frustrations will pass and there are many, MANY, people in this community that very much appreciate everything that is done.

@hasanben35 As already mentioned a couple of times in this thread, Mobilism v2 has been disabled for fixing some (unforeseen) bug(s) which have been discovered after going live.
In the meanwhile you can use v1.9.3, which you can download in the 1st post of this thread.

We're doing optimizations and placed an order for a new powerful server (2x Intel 12-Core Xeon E5-2650v4, 128gb RAM, RAID10). The new server should be ready within 2 days, so I think you guys can expect the app to be working again by this weekend.
