Can i make a suggestion ? Can the 1st post be updated with the 10top programs, say once a month ? Would be a great place for people like me to see what is the best software available for a ppc.
I have my ppc(htc universal/imate jasjar) for 4 months now and only use the following programs:
Resco explorer
resco photoviewer
tcpmp
Would love to know what more is available fo reveryday use.

2. spb diary
3. spb weather
4. journal bar
5. resco explorer
6. resco photo viewer
7. pocket informant
8. MS voice command
9. spb backup

A little roundup about the 10 most installed software in this topic until today.
Resco Explorer won the Pocket PC Magazine Best Software Award - maybe this means nothing to you - but it is also the most installed file manager by 17 users. That's 23% of the installed applications. SkTools is second in the row and the the most used clean- and tweak utility installed by 9 users on their PPC. Many features missing in official OS installations make Spb Pocket Plus the most used Today plug-in. 8 users installed it on their PPC.(11% of the installed software). From the day chips mutated from fried potatoes to computer components, memory has been a big concern. Also for the PPC. To free up that most valuable memory 7 users installed mem maid. Also 7 - although not the same - users enhance their Pocket Outlook by gathering all of their PIM information in one place. They use Spb Diary to achieve that. That's also 9 % of the most used applications. There is a lot to clean and tweak in our frequently used beauties, we already saw SKTools installed, but 6 users prefer to work with Pocket Mechanic for that purpose. The same number of users do it save and have SPB Backup installed for those "you never know what happens until it is to late" cases. Again 6 users like to watch a movie - you don't want to know what kind of movie - or listen to a little piece of music - that shall be Chopin or Bach - and do it trough TCPMP installed on their multimedia all-in-one. You like to surf the same Web sites on your PPC as you do on your personal computer? The Opera mobile Web browser is designed with speed and ease-of-use in mind - that's what they want us to believe - and 5 users can't live without it.(7% of most installed software). 4 users have never been able to manage their life from the Today screen before they installed PocketBreeze, a powerful Calendar and Tasks manager, also from Spb. The top-10 of most installed software is followed very tight by TomTom (4users), Pocket Hack Master, Repligo, Pocket Informant and Wisbar advance; all used by 3 PPC-junkies.
Please keep posting your 10 most used and/or installed software and applications.
