Which movie player do you prefer for pocket pc and why?

TCPMP (The core pocket media player) all the way. It can play almost any media format and has tons of good options.

TCPMP + all plugins, can't beat it. The VLC of pocket players.

Way to lock the player when listening and running? way to skip to next track without clicking on next from the pull down menu?

Yes you can map all those functions to buttons in the settings menu.

how about not being able to play a movie that i have downloaded from here that is in avi format? says it cannot find file but the file is on the storage card. it can play only one file from the card, which is the same AVI format as the others but will not play anything else?

but it seems like the TCPMP does not run smoothly on the HTC TyTN...
any advise on that?

Right ! It is not that it "seems" like the TCPMP does not run smoothly : TCPMP does not run at all on TyTN ... play is ok but when you want to fastfoward or pause the player goes crazy ... An alternative to it ? Thx

i use coreplayer but i wonder if there is any sw that can permit uses subtitles?

I cant seem to play my movies through the core player can someone explain why this is? Any help would be appreciated.
