hi, this is my first post in this forum, i wanna tell you THIS ROCKS!!!!

so my problem is...... i need to go on some pages on the ppc

i have gsmart i128, im from mexico...... email is mailto:[email protected]...... well......

my problem is iwanna check some certain pages on net, some email accounts, or bank pages, where i can check my statement,,,, i wanna do that on my ppc...... but default internet explorer sometimes doesnt open bank pages, or maybe opens it but when i open a bank page, i put my card number and password, then opens nothing.... or opens a blank page, where is supposed to be my statement........ so i tried opera... nothing

netfront 3.3.... kinda working , but not enough.... so i was thinking

maybe those pages are build on java or flash i dunno... what can i do??? thanks !

Try doing this:
This will let your pocket internet explorer look like a normal desktop Internet Explorer 6.0
This can help you access sites that require a certain internet explorer version.
1) Open a registry editor
2) Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\
3) Change the default value to "Mozilla/4.0".
4) Change the "Version" value to "MSIE 6.0".
5) Change the "Platform" value to "Windows NT 5.0".
6) Soft-reset.

and wich explorer should i use? internet explorer? opera? netfront? thanks im trying the registry right now :d

Install Resco Explorer, it comes with a registry editor.

ok im sufring on registry now but...... there is no user agent folder after "Internet Settings" i have

Internet Settings/5.0/User Agent...... and then all that you say,,,,,,,,,,,, should i do it?

i did the changes...... same result

when i go on banks page it opens it good but when i put my card number and password, then he tries to open next page like in a pc, but then opens a blank page with title about:blank what else can i do?? thanks a lot

but you need to enter your card number and password....... so i dont think you have there...... can you try to check your statement on your bank account online???

Hope this helps, i'm still new to Pocket PC world so doing registry tweaks is not my cup of tea yet, so i just installed this cab file.

Only works for Pie? I notices that in Netfront you can change the User-Agent, appName and so on. What lines do I put there to make Netfront look like Internet Explorer and a desktop PC? Because I think the login page at the university requires me to log on from a desktop PC. Also has some sort of certificate that Netfront SHOULD be able to handle.
