Is there such a thing as ppc crossword dictionaries where you can either use the clues or known letters to get the answer? All I find under dictionaries are translation programs.

Hum... it's been a year and a half now, Sir, that you asked this question. I suppose your crossword has been solved by now. If it is not, my apologise for replying so late. To excuse myself I shall gladly write for you to the Guinness world records, and ask that you would be nominated in their next book as the man that took most time ever to complete a crossword puzzle...

Now, to answer your question, - don't be afraid, I will not take much off your time, as you need it probably to solve... ok - there are indeed no specific programs for crossword solving, but a lot of dictionaries are also great for rhyming and crossword puzzle solving. If you look for example at this release, you will find a really strong crossword solver that should do the job.

Hum... maybe you could even get into that "records" book as the fastest crossword solver ever!!! (I mean, the next one, Sir... not the one you're solving now... ;) )

(Don't forget to mention me... I shall be the first who helped the fastest... ok, right. )

oic, thx a lot...

BTW, for anybody who's interested, i just found out that Lexisgoo also has crossword solving functionality (see the Tools function) which i think is a lot more versatile in this department...

BTW i checked out just now the thread you mentioned guy1731. I think it's very useful. I never new it existed. That thread should be bumped every time or stickied or something...

I always wondered what alternatives to the software I'm using. I used to do searches using keywords to look for similar programs...

STICKY IT :d
