Hey!

I used WM6 Crossbow on my HTC Universal before I sold it. The included RDP Program was GREAT!! It let me connect to any pc, even if the default port was changed. Terminal Services on my WM5-based HTC Hermes 200, does not let me do that.

Does anyone know a good RDP program that fits these requirements? 10$W reward if you solve my problem!!

1) Allows me to connect to any port (192.168.1.1:3990 for example)
2) Allows me to connect to my WinXP machine, using NO EXTRA SOFTWARE (just using the built-in RDP function built into WinXP Pro)
3) Allows me to go full screen with no bars at the top and bottom of my screen. I feel this is required to work easily.

If anyone can extract the RDP module built into WM6 Crossbow, for installation and use in WM5 ....... I will pay 25$W!!

well .. tried the mocha stuff. allows #1, and #2 but not #3 (full screen).

Apparently I cant set the resolution it should connect at, it looks something like 800x600. All I can do is virtually scroll across the screen using a little 320x280 window (or whatever my htc is?). Thats rather annoying. gr

thank you! I guess thats my second best choice.. but i really want to keep with microsofts rdp. I just like how no 3rd party server has to stay running on the host.

Is this what you are looking for?

RDP from Windows Mobile 6. It works great on my ppc6700.
I forget who originally posted it, but I am fairly certain it originated at xdadevolopers

copy cab to device and install.

Yeah this is definitely something that would benefit from a VGA device. Hopefully we will see more of them hit the US market soon.

Glad it worked for you. It's certainly superior to the WM5 client in every way.
