I'm about to install a talking dictionary English-German-English, which can you suggest I use? Planning to learn German through it, text, pronunciation, basic speech.

if you need a talking dictionary i suggest you try Lingvosoft German Talking Dictionaries 2007 Package. it's the best multi-lingual dictionary so far.

Ultralingua is another good dictionary. it's not talking but works way better and faster than Lingvosoft and doesn't need extra keyboard interfaces for each language.
