dear shimrob, as you can see in my sig plz put your device information in your profile settings to let us help you further.

iac, here is what you have to do:

Use notepad on you desktop/laptop pc and save the following text as "RunningProgram.lnk", then transfer it to your PDA and you are set.
Code: Select all22#ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,4,2

or simply download it from here.

Yeah, it's a cool trick. Thanks Infernal! (even if I wasn't the one asking).

Is there a way to have a list of the running programs on the status bar (or something like that)?

Do you prefer http://www.empire-games.org or http://www.war-games.org ?

you can use Wisbar instead. it has an option that adds a small icon to the taskbar for each running program as well as some other useful features. you can get the latest release from here.

did you try to download the file i've linked in my previous post? it has the .lnk file you need. there's also a single-line text file which could be considered as a simple help file.
but if you need further help, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for your reply, Infernal. I already have Wisbar (greaaat software). I was looking for something in the status bar (bottom). I found True Toolbar which works fine (yet, if someone knows another way to do it, I'd be happy to try it). Bye :)

I've tried SPB Pocket Plus but I still prefer Wisbar Advance. I use WA Lite and still working great. Or maybe u wanna try Battery Pack Pro? Still WA is my preference. It's up to you, u just have to try urself and choose which one suits u. :D

use AE Button Plus. it lets you remap all hardware buttons and contains a large number of predefined macros such as toggling bluetooth, WiFi or closing the current application.

I think there may be a way to do it without installing software, but I don't know if it's easy.
In my WM5 ppc, I have assigned the "running programs" shortcut to a button without installing any software... Did you try assigning your bluetooth program? Perhaps finding the executable file for your bluetooth configuration program, then creating a shortcut to be able to associate it with a button. If that doesn't work, it can probably be done with a shortcut similar to the "running programs" one, but made specifically for the control panel item that you're interested in..
Now, if you want the bluetooth functionality to "automatically" turn on/off with the press of a button, it might be easier to get a program to do it.
