this may seem a bit insane to ask but I just dont know...

what is the difference between ppc and wm5?

Im pretty much used to palm os,but mine took a dump so I ventured off into the windows based phones for a try...

I have a motorola Q......it has windows,yes.....but thats all I know about it other than 90% of any program I download for it "isnt intended for this device"

os info says it is windows ce......I havent a clue,is it ppc? is it smartphone?

it is wm5,i was under the impression that any program created for wm5 would work on this device (I was wrong) now Im asking those who know "just what do I have and are there any usefull programs that actually work with it?"

The motorola q is a WM5 smartphone

In general, sparthphones dont have a stylus while ppcs do

The general rule for checking if your device is ppc or a smartphone is to tap on the screen. If you can navigate your way through your phone by taping on your screen, then you have a ppc. Otherwise, you have a smartphone, which you do.
Like Bendy said, stylus' come with ppcs.

You are welcomed, but that is not all true. There are many great apps for smartphone, it just so happens that this site focuses on ppc; however, it does provide as many smartphone apps as possible, more than most sites. There are some apps that are not available on ppc but are for smartphone, like the new football and basketball games.

Ya,thats what caught my attention,yalls site has alot of nice stuff and some good info in the forums to (Ive been lurking around them reading after work)

I found this site accidently when I was looking for a program I had "for my treo" but now I want it for my phone I have now,one of lingvosofts language progs (tagalog) I found it here and was suprised (I had a hard time getting it even for my treo)

but alas.....I got the dreaded "not intended for this device" message.............sigh

anyways thanks again,if I find something I think yall would like (or dont have)I'll upload it
