Hi, this might be a noob question but im new here as well.

how do i go about getting these plugins to work such as

i put both .cab files into my sd card and then opened them up in my Asus a626 and installed them onto the device (not the card) i then went to see if there was anything but the only thing that changed was the date and time dissappeared from my today screen(hence where the big digital clock would be if the addin had worked). so i press the reset button to see if that would do anything but it did nothign. so i went into settings > today > items to see if there was anything there but nothing i also looked in the system settings but nothing. any one know how i can make these able to work.

Well basically you havent got a htc device you have an asus device which is why it wont work , the htc home plugin is designed for htc devices only

hmm because. i read on the xda forums the requirements were a pocket pc with windows mobile 6.
i know the links i show state that i require an htc but i really got my files from the xda developers forum. well the black theme works atleast.
