I use to have a Dell Axim X5 WM 2002, and I seem to remember seeing a program that you can unlock your pda with a signature that you made with your stylus, but it only worked on a WM 2003 so I couldn't use it! does anybody know which program I'm talking about and what's the name?

And while I'm talking about security, does anyone have a clue why the smart people at Microsoft took away the ability to password protect Excel files in WM 5 and 6??? and is there any solution to that??

I'm not exactly sure on your first issue. However, for the excel files--if you get Resco Explorer, it has this option. Tap and hold on the file that you want, and put encrypt.

yes I have Resco but that encrypts the file and the only way to unecrypt it is to click it in explorer, what I'm looking for, is just to password it that when you click on it in Mobile Excel it asks you for a password (the same as in Excel or Word on the PC)
