I was wondering if anyone could help me out... I have an HTC touch and I've grown bored of the standard today screen. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or even a favorite?

I use the resco today plugin on my htc trinity.
it is small and functional.

my wife uses an ipaq 1950 with the spb pocket plus app. prettier I think

I personally find spb mobile shell to be a great alternative to worrying about what to put on your today screen. i usually had a custom rom that was very clean (DCD's for example.) and then i would add spb time, phone suite, plus, weather and shell. i would put time and phone suite on the today screen and let Mobile Shell be my main info source. I've tried quite a few and the only other i find to be totally awesome is Wisbar Advance Desktop. the major issue with that is it takes time to customize but because of that customization you can do just about anything.
I say backup your phone and try em all.
