hi every one, I am desperately looking for a software that allows me to assign one of my hardware keys for quick access to the backlight cpl file to change the level of backlight. I have XDA Atom Executive. You got it, no? I want to increase my PDA's screen brightness just pressing one of the hardware keys a couple of times...this would be very useful when I'm outdoor and i just cant see what is there in my screen. I usually keep the level of the backlight to a battery friendly level and have problem seeing things displayed on the screen when in brighter environment.
I have tried AE button plus, but it does NOT execute the shortcut i made for backlight.cpl. Please, do you have any idea? Please share. Thanks!!

As far as I know, this feature is available in the spb pocket plus, it provides brightness level-up/down/toggle programs which can be binded to the buttons you want.

I recommend you download the freeware MVBKlight. You can assign it to hardware key where you can configure it to cycle at predefined number of levels in each press. It works like charm :)
