i'm using total commander but how do i create lnk files so i can create shortcuts?

Creating was easy, now, where do I place this short cut if I want it to show on the today screen for running?

for today Screen place it under \Windows\Start Menu
for placing in Programs \Windows\Start Menu\Programs
