Border Knight Series by Griff Hosker (Border Knight #10-12)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 935kb
Overview: Griff Hosker
I was, for over 35 years, an English teacher. After running a successful Educational Consultancy company for four years I decided to return to an early passion, writing. As I love the works of C.S Forester, Simon Scarrow, Ben Kane, Alexander Kent and Bernard Cornwell I began writing my Roman historical fiction novels, the Sword of Cartimandua
In the last 8 years I have written a number of series from my Roman Books, through Saxons, Viking, Norman, Stephen and Matilda, The Crusades, King John and King Richard II. At the moment I am up to Henry Vth and Agincourt. I have also written an American Civil War series as well as the Napoleonic War. Two of my most recent series are set in World War I and World War II. The former is about the RFC and the latter about the Commandos.
Genre: Historical Fiction

10 War In The West
King Henry has need of a sword to help him recover land taken by the Prince of Wales! And he looks to the north and the border knights who have served him so well. Now that Sir Thomas is becoming too old for war Sir William is chosen to lead the knights of the Tees south to the wild lands of Gwynedd.
This time Sir William finds himself the target of enemies as yet unknown and he and his son, Dick, are placed in the greatest of danger as they seek to complete a clandestine mission for King Henry.
After the King suffers a humiliating defeat it is left to young Sir Henry Samuel to save the beleaguered English army from complete disaster but it is not with a cost and as usual it is the men of the north who pay the price for a King’s mistakes.
Chronicling the actual events of 1146 and 1147.
12 Blood of the Warlord
The warlord, his son and even his grandchildren are all dead. Sacrificed by kings who used them. Now King Henry asks the great-grandsons of the Warlord to help his son, The Lord Edward, learn how to rule. Sent with too few men and too many enemies, Sir Henry Samuel, Sir Alfred and the newly knighted Sir Thomas must learn how to use their skills, not in the familiar borderlands but in Gascony where insurrection and treason have reared their heads.
