The basis for squirt hand sanitizer, as well as for wipes, is isopropyl alcohol, sometimes called rubbing alcohol. Some people use ethyl, which is used in wine and beer, but it’s generally regarded as not being as effective. If your mixture uses at least 60% alcohol, the liquid can be soaked into baby wipes, dry wipes, paper towels or tissues. Then you can use them to wipe your hands and sanitize them effectively.
