From an Ultimate Dim Thule: A review of the early works of Sidney H. Sime by George Locke
Requirements: .PDF reader, 16 mb
Overview: This little book hints at a broader range to Sime's art and techniques than his Dunsany work; the creatures are varied in line and humour from the eerie, other-dimensional Moonijim to the madly logical Ta-Ta. In fact, it offers the only real evidence in book form that Sime was more than just Dunsany's illustrator; that the Manchester-born artist might well be worth study in his own right.
