I second BigBrother. I think under aged kids also visit this site and to be honest this post needs to be in a different thread not in the General Apps category. when you categories thread in adult forum it appears on main/home page. It's not admins fault. you just have to make a rule that everyone must upload images with only app name written on it. No graphical image at all for adult forum. like this viewtopic.php?f=438&t=1066784&hilit=blacklist (no logo also).

So for who wants to upload an adult app, please check twice the kind of the screenshots..

I also agree with (GL)BigBrother and others that some sort of protocol change is in order regarding the cover image of said releases. Some appear to be visiting the forums in respective categories and clearly see that these releases are indeed posted to the Adult section with no problems. However, quite a few others view from the Mobilism homepage as 'display all' and get all releases shown on the same page. As far as know, this is by far the quickest and easiest way to view content in the Android section.

I'm not offended by the images and I don't have any moral problems with it; however, everyone has their own unique environment to view content and one really cannot dictate for all. The safest and most practical thing to do is simply change the posting protocol to include softer cover images for the releases. This is clearly marked as adult content and follows current protocol; no problems from what I can see other than the procedures need to change a bit to allow for more general viewing from all audiences.

And, yes, please; let's keep things civil as this is not a subject to spar over whatsoever. There are just some simple observations from some who are concerned about how things are displayed, not where things are posted.

You can't have your cake and eat it at the same time . You either have an adult section ( and it's porn no matter how you try to camouflage it ) or you don't. Obviously you don't want to see hardcore photos posted but there has to be a middle ground. Like what's wrong with the photo posted in this thread ?

1) Maybe you don't understand that here is the ANDROID section StanW. Each section of the forum has its own Admins, Mods and rules.
So I don't know and I can't express my opinion about the e-book section.
2) No one tells that the users can't upload adult apps. And that's why there is the adult section. BUT is different say this and in the other hand advice the users to not use hard pics on topics. I agree that the users know what means an adult app, and who doesn't have interests simply will not look there. But this doesn't mean that the site can accept any porn material! There is a big difference between erotic and porn stuff. We just ask from the uploaders to pay attention at the uploaded pics. So simple..
The rule says: No porn/profanity/swearing including in your signatures or avatars. No hard/porn pics on topics.
