This forum needs to enforce some sort of censorship on adult content as this is a liability issue. For example, only allowed logged in accounts to view adult content - similar to Youtube and what Google has done to prevent liability lawsuit with this website.

If not, parents and children (under 18) protection groups will start litigation against this forum. It would be a pity for Mobilism Market to shut down due to civil litigation.

are you serious?

these forums posts pirated apps for just about everything from the android market and your worried about some parents trying to close this site because because underage children might use a porn app posted here?

Good thing you can't just Google for Porn .... oh wait. Seriously like there is a porn shortage that poor little underage boys can't access now.

Can any MOD confirm if this app is safe? Previous versions where reported from MODS as infected with virus and malware

thanks

I think forum should add "ADULT APP" section...

Agreed with Adrianyujs.

Let's have a separate adult apps section and let people post all the adult stuff to their own delight if they wish, but not in the normal sections please.

This has nothing about how easy it is to google for free porn, or whether porn is good or bad or what the average age of teenagers should be when they watch porn. The only question is can we have a separate section for porn applications, and can they please be removed from the general release page, or at least make some rule that only the title is shown, but no preview pictures?
I don't have ANYTHING against porn, shit I even downloaded an earlier version of this "application" just to see what it was (it is just a list of links to a couple of videos that someone has stored in dropbox). but I am not a teenager any more, and when I am home or at work or even with 80% of my friends, I don't want porn pictures on my screen.

Without making any changes to the forum's code we can solve this in two ways:
- we can make it so that Adult sections are not visible to non-registered members so you'd have to login first to see them
- we can enforce a new rule to have all images with adult content linked to like in the Movies section

Additionally keep in mind you can just disable the section if you're logged in. User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit Displayed Forums. What do you guys think?

Hey Disk4mat,
a link to images saying "warning nudity" or something like that would be perfect, like I see in some other releases. So the releases will still be announced on the main release-feed, no need to change anything in the forum etc. It is a perfect solution. should really keep everybody happy I think.

@Disk4mat: Both suggestions above are great - the first one will, I think, prevent this website from any litigation regarding inappropriate content. I think if you can do this then censorship groups will definitely back off Mobilism Market.

This way, users who are interested in Android porn apps can still view/download these apps; while others can view the main page without any "distraction", so to speak.

If there should be adult make it an option so we who NOT wanna see it can filtrate it off. IF I wanna see porn there are way better places and who are so desperate that they, download from 3G and watch it on a phone..? Only one word from me about porn here, Take it away since "I" think it's pathetic!

To icepax

I couldn't agree more with you.
