Forced to flee Fiji at the height of a military coup en route to covering the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Dingo sets about discovering Australia as well as, among other things, the divorce rate for penguins and the threat to koalas from VD before he begins the tortuous trek home across south-east Asia and India.
