so is this possible to copy the previously downloaded databases from another device to my SD card and use the application??

I have been successful loading the offline content from a rooted phone - I restore the medscape app via backup after loading a new Rom, then run it immediately after restore and it lets me download the offline data. If you reboot or re-run the app it will fail if you're rooted

lg p500 not rooted , took 40 minutes to download and decompress the offline database over wifi ( the download part was instant.) ...after the process there were no references !!! Restarted the app and it offered to download the offline database AGAIN ! Not working for some reason plus i have no online reference, blank pages.
