mirrors arent a big issue because the app can be updated through itself. if it says the database is up to date, exit and retsrat the app and try again. personally i had to restart the app/update 2 or 3 times to get everything. if this doesnt work follow intructions in first post:

1. uninstall lexi (i wiped data and uninstalled through titanium backup)
2. turn airport mode on
3. reinstall and open lexi
4. you should get a force close, ignore and restart the app
5. go into the update tab. it will tell you theres no connection and ask you if youd like to retry
6. turn off airport mode so connections are active
7. click retry and update should work

thanks again to nokia for the great work. this is an invaluable app for medical reference and a huge help to those still in med school whod otherwise not afford the lexi subscription. donated 50warez

@drashran: Try using different browser. When you get filesin page at the bottom select free user. Then you have to wait for 30 sec, when timer is over you will have to enter captcha code, when you hit "Enter" or click "slow download", you will be asked to save the file. (I am using firefox even with adblock plus I am able to download. Chrome is also doing good).

Let me clarify: I don't think Filesin is that bad, it offers good speed. about adf.ly I do it for fun . No seriously speaking the other aspect is that many bloggers copy these releases as it is on there blog. I do cracking for fun, it's not a serious business for me. Just to see people enjoying the release & thanking me is a great feeling. (oh my god I am becoming emotional )
Also about the nag screen I don't know what you are talking about is it that "Nokia670819 Rocks..." & another one when you hit update for the first time, that "The much awaited update feature & blah blah...":P These two screens will appear only for the first time you launch the app, on subsequent uses none of them show up. This is just to let people know that this app has Nokia670819's essence in it! Also people downloading from other sites will also know this. That's the only reason.
Also many have asked me why don't use mediafire? The answer is simple "remote upload". Many leechers have used my links for remote uploading on various affiliate filehosts. That disapponted me when I started posting. Therefore to protect my work (yup & to make few bucks just for fun,though I dont make any living out of this )
Now regarding the updates issue as AtticusFinch rightly pointed out In the first post, I have written about 2 Known Issues about the app. Referring to that, Update may be buggy some time, but it does work. I tried with all the databases files which I have uploaded on my friends phone & the update worked flawlessly after reinstalling app with the given steps.
Hope this clarifies all the questions.

@AtticusFinch: Thanks for the explanation man. But I have to slightly disagree though the mirrors are a big issue for some of them who don't have wifi or 3G (as one point of time me too was in same class ). So keeping those in mind I have ported this app for complete offline use i.e. you can install & use this app without having wifi or 3G.
But not to worry I am working on uploading mirrors, but it will take some time(as with 30 Kbps upload speed what else can you expect )

It's a bug that happens on ICS 4.0.2 and later. Lexi is aware of the bug and are working on a fix (so it's not the cracked version only).

Attention: Can someone help me in providing Lexi-Comp v1.9.2 its out there in Google Play, but I could not download it, as it says my device isn't compatible with this app. It is supposed to patch progress bar bug.

Note: Some of you may suggest to edit build.prop file, but It doesnt works on ICS & I don't wanna do that backup, flash, reflash of ROMS; its too boring.
So plz upload the app here. (Use various app backup apps available out there in the market to get the apk file out of installed app)

OMG such a quick response Thanks buddy, will work on it shortly.
man I had tried to work on epocrates initially but no success, to be frank I am not quite interested in this particular app.But Strangely I noticed a funny thing 3 or 4 months back. I had installed epocrates before & uninstalled, but one & half months later when I again tried my hands on it & registered on the app with different email, all the subscriptions were available for regular trial period. Dont know wether it happens now also.
