Problem is when I do a restore from the directory. I never comes back.
Maybe I should have saves as a ,ZIP, I select all the options and I get no progress screen.

Ok the extreme right of the app you will see archive Icon click on it then 3 tabs appear under as follows
Apk external data and complete data
Now depending on what you choose your backup will appear and when you click on it you will be able to start a restore process

I don`t know if i understood you but if you can can you send me the screen shot so I can try to help out

But it automatically creates zip files Ave after restoring it says complete you can even choose the custom location..
But what I noted is that alpha backup can backup data data kind of apps well

While titanium is good for other apps that keep data into the internal storage

Unfortunately it seems they blocked this

App doesn't work anymore as the method is restricted from the developer. As long as you have pre-installed it before blocking and use it offline (don't update it), it'll work otherwise there's no way. Leaving this topic open in case users share their saved data or something.

Thank you but a rooted phone is needed to get data in backup format that can be restored. That can be done through lp or Titanium Backup and both requires root.

Is it saving data in obb? Possible to just copy data to /obb. Was able to get it restored on a rooted device, no other non-rooted though.
