Overview: Erin O’Quinn writes about the little-known past of Ireland: the Ireland of St. Patrick, the high kings, the cattle barons, and others...the poets, the pirates, the sacred hill of Tara, the druids and much more...all of it shrouded in a veil of mystery. Only with the arrival of Patrick did learning and written history begin in Ireland, and so it is up to my cast of characters to shed light on what really happened, starting in roughly 431 AD.

Storm Maker (#1) The impetuous Caylith meets her match. Liam O'Neill, strongly attracted by the sultry promise in her green eyes and by her bold mouth, calls her his “Storm Maker,” and yet she learns that he, too, has ways to stir up a whirlwind.
The more she tries to stay chaste, the more her passions increase. The sexual tension builds as she faces the clash of her desires and her promise to Patrick—to remain a virgin until marriage. When an old enemy seizes Liam as hostage for all her lands, she first confronts the scheming druid brothers Loch and Lucet, pagan priests of the high king himself, and then she faces the malevolence of her old nemesis Owen Sweeney.
Finally, on the verge of marriage, Caylith is confronted by the other man who loves her. Now she must choose between the lover who has waited for her and the untamed, mysterious Liam.
The Wakening Fire (#2) Even though married life for young Liam and Caitlín O'Neill is just as sensuous as their stormy courtship, both of them still need to learn a whole new language—how to show each other their deepest, most secret passions. Liam finds ingenious ways to teach his still-naive wife about his urgent needs, and she surprises him with her own instruction.
In the midst of their quest of each other, they find themselves on a more deadly search—for the dark secrets of their old enemy Owen Sweeney, confined to an invalid's cart and seemingly just as dangerous as ever. Their search for the truth of the brooding half man leads them back to the history of Ireland's most famous high king, to the deadly vengeance of a jealous woman, and finally to the hills of sacred Tara, where a high king and St. Patrick himself compete for men's hearts and souls.
Captive Heart (#3) Even as Caitlín and Liam O'Neill prepare for a happily ever after, she is faced by two problems. Her mother, once held captive by a band of murderous Pictish raiders, has caught a glimpse of one of her former captors in the very church they attend. And Caitlín is visited by a kinsman of Liam—the unhappy, brooding Murdoch, who has fallen in love with her and seems to be stalking her.
Caitlín and her sensuous husband become caught up in the adventure of pursuing and capturing the savages who had once taken her mother and freeing their current victims, even as she struggles to cope with Murdoch, who has found where they are hidden in tacit exchange for her affections.
Caitlín becomes more emotionally tormented as she begins to understand the wounds inflicted on her mother, and as she fights against the unseemly feelings of Murdoch—whom she inadvertently inflames even more.
