1. Sleeping Lord Beattie - Young ladies of good breeding do not kiss gentlemen in their bed chambers even if they have been asleep for three weeks. One would think Lady Emily would know that. One would think Lady Emily would not have entered Lord Beattie’s bed chamber alone. One would have thought that kissing the handsome viscount would have been the last thing she would have done.
But kiss him she did. And that was when the apothecary walked in. All of which meant she had to marry Lord Beattie.
Why the silly little chit had kissed him when he’d been out cold for three weeks, the Lord alone knew. And now Gideon, Viscount Beattie had to marry the outspoken little minx. But there was something a little charming about her. The problem was, her uncle was after his hide, the peasants were revolting – in the rioting sense, not in the disgusting sense – and he really needed to procure some grain from up north. He may as well kill two birds with one stone and elope with the interesting, frustrating, irritating and thoroughly delightful Lady Emily – soon to be Viscountess Beattie. It would be an interesting journey.

2. The Cinder Earl's Christmas Deception - Gabriel Marchby, Earl of Cindermaine and legitimate heir to the Duke of Hartsmere, should have refused to be part of a farce that meant he had to pretend to be his illegitimate half-brother. Gabriel should have, but he would not. A mistake from his childhood means that his two half-brothers live the lives of kings while Gabriel grovels as a servant in his sire’s household. And now the Earl has to attend a betrothal ball, pretend to be the groom-to-be, woo the bride-to-be and not let anyone know that the real groom was casting up his accounts upstairs. When Cedric continues to be unwell, Gabriel must accompany the delectable Miss Roberts to balls, soirees, and musicales, all while pretending to be Cedric, the arrogant dandy of a half-brother, to whom the Earl just happened to bear a striking resemblance.
Miss Kathleen Roberts, the American heiress, had always dreamed of coming to England and falling head over ears in love with a Duke or a Prince. But her father wanted her to marry Mr Cedric Onslow, the illegitimate son of the Duke of Hartsmere. Upon meeting Cedric for the first time, he wore inappropriate clothing that showed … well, they showed the things that innocent young ladies are not supposed to see. He then he proceeded to cast up his accounts outside her house. But he had behaved better since and wore very nice breeches. Everything seems fine until an overheard conversation throws into doubt the identity of the man courting her. Could this nice gentleman be the Duke’s legitimate heir?
With Gabriel’s sister and newly reacquainted friend from school acting as matchmakers and fairy godmothers, can Kathleen and Gabriel overcome the obstacles their circumstances put in their way? Will a hasty marriage lead to disaster or will this Christmas Season prove that love is a miracle in itself?

3. Lord Rose Reid and the Lost Lady - Lord Jason Rose-Reid should never have questioned why there was a horse out in a blizzard in the middle of Cumbria. If he had not, he would not have rescued Lady Rutherford and her babe from the snow. He also would not now be struggling with a myriad of emotions regarding the not-so-merry widow herself. He would be drinking port and reading Homer like all good rakes should be doing on cold winter evenings. Not running about the country, widow and babe in tow, with a growing desire for the aforementioned widow to boot.
How had it come to this? Fleeing for her life, or rather, the life or her three-month-old son. It seemed that some men would kill a harmless infant to gain money, land and a title. She had fled to Lord Whitsnow's estate, but due to an unfortunate series of events, had ended up in the dower house with both Lord Whitsnow and his friend, Lord Rose-Reid. Two sullen, fractious gentlemen; a crying, fractious baby and a growing realisation that they were her, and her son’s, protectors. Now every time she looked at Lord Rose-Reid he stole her breath. And every so often, she allowed him to steal more than a kiss.
She wanted to get away. Her only problem was how. Was she in more danger staying or going? It was almost as if she was in a bear's den, and he wanted to eat her all up. And the vexing thing was, she was more than willing to be dinner. Now, he said she'd be safer with him in Yorkshire, and after a visit from her pursuers, she may very well be.

4. Lord Whitsnow and the Seven Orphans - Young ladies should not ask bachelor earls for help.
Young ladies should not accept propositions from aforementioned earls. Young ladies certainly should not stay with earls in their country homes, even with chaperones consisting of one other young lady and seven orphans. Miss Lucy Butterworth knows all this, but she accepted the proposition, and now the earl wants to marry her. And the earl is so handsome, and so perfect, and so upstanding (in more ways than one). Unfortunately, Lucy is far from perfect, and if the earl finds out her secrets, she’ll be ruined.
* * *
Robert Beresford, the Earl of Whitsnow, knows he should not have propositioned Miss Butterworth, but she was the answer to his prayers. Pretty; intelligent; and, well, there. She would save him from the dreaded marriage mart. He’s an earl for goodness sake. Why would she not marry him? His valet assures Robert that the maids think he is good-looking. As Robert gets to know Miss Butterworth, and the seven orphans she has in tow, he becomes more intrigued and a little infatuated. Is there more to her interest in orphans than just a desire to do good? Why does a single young lady refuse such a good match? And why does she need a lot of money in a hurry? Do the orphans hold the key to her secrets? And can Lucy resurrect the feelings of his previously inanimate heart?
